Upgrade utilizing 1 of the 3 options below.  Utilizing a combination of options will not be considered.

Option 1: Utilize standard USAC upgrade protocol as described in the USAC Rulebook and identified here: http://www.usacycling.org/category-upgrade-information.htm

Option 2: Utilize USAC and/or unsanctioned event results to submit for an upgrade.

  • Results from USAC races to be awarded points as described in the USAC rulebook and identified here: http://www.usacycling.org/category-upgrade-information.htm
  • Results from unsanctioned events* are to be awarded points in accordance with the schedule outlined in the USAC rulebook and in the published guidelines here: http://www.usacycling.org/category-upgrade-information.htm
    • Categories at unsanctioned events must match exactly to the USAC category guidelines.  (Ex. Cat A/B/C and Single Speed races will not be accepted)
  • Race results must be published on www.usacycling.org or www.crossresults.com
  • This option may not be utilized for upgrades to Category 1

Option 3: Upgrade based on results in a self-seeded category in an unsanctioned event
  • Submit 5 race results from the self-seeded category* from unsanctioned events where a finish in the top 25% was achieved
    • Categories at unsanctioned events must match exactly to the USAC category guidelines.  (Ex. Cat A/B/C and Single Speed races will not be accepted)
    • Submitted race results must be in a category higher than the category listed on the riders USAC license.
  • Race results must be published on www.usacycling.org or www.crossresults.com
  • This option may not be utilized for upgrades to Category 1
